Code of Conduct
Last updated: April 2026
STEMology sessions are calm, respectful and focused on learning. This code applies to tutors, students and parents/guardians.
Our tutors will
- Treat every student with respect, patience and encouragement.
- Be punctual, prepared and clear in their teaching.
- Give honest, kind feedback and protect each student’s confidence.
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Follow our safeguarding policy and report concerns promptly.
We ask students to
- Arrive on time, ready to learn, with required materials.
- Engage respectfully — no name-calling, bullying or disruptive behaviour.
- Try their best on homework and ask questions when stuck.
- Use cameras (where appropriate) and stay attentive in online sessions.
- Keep session links and materials private.
We ask parents/guardians to
- Provide a quiet, supportive space for online lessons.
- Communicate openly about progress, concerns or absences.
- Pay invoices and respect cancellation timeframes.
- Reinforce a calm, growth-focused attitude at home.
Unacceptable behaviour
Any form of harassment, discrimination, threats, inappropriate language or breach of safeguarding will result in immediate review and may lead to termination of tuition.
